Ursula Trummer speaker at the interactive workshop organised by members of the Austrian chapter of Women in Global Health (WGH) and the European Health orum Gastein at the Ministry of Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection of the Republic of Austria.
The workshop includes an exercise on privilege versus discrimination, followed by short spotlight contributions from experts from members of the Austrian WGH network on
– structural challenges
– experiences of discrimination of patients from a medical anthropological perspective
– experiences of discrimination by healthcare staff.
